There is a hoax on Facebook, if it is still there, that will infect a computer.

Here is the information

Yet another reason to avoid 'social media'. I don't do farcebook, tweeter or the others. My <real> friends and I see each other in person, use telephone and e-mail, and I converse with others further away via various forum sites. Far less drama, and not having the entire virtual world in on our conversation.

On December 2, 2013 it was reported that a number of fake celebrities death reports began resurfacing on-line.

A very close friend of mine reported, today, receiving an email (Facebook) that his antivirus program caught. So I'm just reporting. Old or new it is something that everyone should be aware of on social media.

As for me.

FACEBOOK: Where pointless information is shared with friends you don't know!

I know most all the friends (all but one) on my facebook page and that one is a first class comedian. THat said E-mail does not get delivered to this computer... EVER.
