Fall weather is moving in QUICKLY!

I'm in Ohio and fall has found us...quickly! Last weekend we were in shorts and tank tops. This coming weekend our nights might be getting as low as mid 30s! Yuck! Guess it's time to start thinking about winterizing the mh. Seriously, I don't even want to think about it!

Fall weather has moved in QUICKLY...and we'll be heading south SHORTLY!

It's not that I don't like the beautiful fall color of the trees, but I don't like what comes afterward.

I totally agree heyaim and all others...for me the 4 seasons are Happy/Dread/Suffer/Hope.
Indiana does not have interesting winters. Mostly just cold, wet and windy. Rarely enough or type of snow to recreate, sunsine is unusual, light is short and nights long. Colors become 28 shades of brown.
Yuck.

From the warmth of a nice fireplace with a big mug of cocoa with marshmallows in it!

No apologies... I don't like the cold or the snow!

We are in the same situation in Western PA. Went to play golf this evening in shorts and every one else had long pants and jackets. This weekend, the lows are going into the 30's. Coming to quickly. Can't winterize yet because we have a trip to GA, the end of this month. Trick or Treat with grand kids. Will winterize as soon as we return. Hopefully we will have some Indian summer then...John H...

Fall is my favorite season. Turning colors, chilly nights, no crowds......I have a 4 night outing next week at one of Ohio State Parks Halloween campouts (Findley SP) and the following weekend a 3 night trip. Thanksgiving weekend is my last ditch weekend. But if the Nov. temps look too cold, I'll winterize before then....All I can say was this summer was hot......and dry...

One of the problems here in Ohio is with the budget cuts to the state parks, many are closing earlier in the fall. The one close to us (Punderson) that stays open all winter has very poor electric service (20 amp).

Forget the marshmallows, give me Bailey's!

Hopefully, this is a short snap before we get a nice stretch of warm days/cool nights. I'm w/Jim, this is my favorite time of year to camp. Campfires just weren't as enjoyable this past summer when it was still 85-degrees at 10PM at night.

Yep, I'm praying for that indian summer! I haven't closed our swimming pool up yet in hopes we can enjoy 1 more pool party!

I agree with others! This was definately a hot summer...not quite what Cali has been having lately. It will be nice to be able to enjoy a camp fire w/out trying to sit 15' away! LOL

61 degrees on the way to WORK (ugh!) this morning. We ought to be camping instead. Kinda wish I hadn't committed to wait until the 1st of the year to retire. Maybe I should reconsider.

Only 106 in Mesa today. I hate these cold spells.
