..today while we were checking out a campground we came across this...


Does anyone have any idea what it is and if it is poisonous to animals?

I believe it is Snow Plant. My Audubon Wildflower Field Guide is the Airstream, I will check it out in the am.

Per the Audubon Field Guide it is not poisonous. It flowers in April-July in coniferous woods from Southern Oregon to Southern California.
