Yup, fed up. I am fed up with these multimillionaire football players disrespecting My flag. I have 5 choice words for them.

STAND UP OR GET OUT!!!!!!!

X4--this country gave them the opportunity to make millions of $$$$$. Now they disrespect the FLAG in protest. Protesting what? GO make a difference yourself, spend time in minority neighborhoods, be a role model for young people by TEACHING respect, not more disrespecting!

Just proves big dollar sport and movie stars do not have sense because of their position.

The down trodden of America with water, cars, cellphones, TVs, food, housing. Take these idiots to places in the true poverty exists to educate them. Of course that is an assumption of being educatable.

I served to protect that flag. All they do is play a game!!! They disrespect all those who gave so much to make this country free!
Not watching any football this year at all.
We all have a choice and if enough of us choose to boycott football then maybe the owners will get a clue.
This goes for any of the other sports also.

I no longer watch these over paid spoiled brats.
I am also tired of these bums being called heroes they are at best over paid entertainers but no way are they heroes.

If any of them ever served they might understand the importance of respecting this countries special symbols of freedom.

I believe this whole thing with Kaepernick kneeling for the National Anthem is a plan to keep San Francisco from cutting him because now if the cut him from the team, he will claim racism, and the owners are afraid of that charge.

I agree, I think that he could care less about what he is supposedly protesting and like a lot of them is only worried about himself. If any of these owners had a backbone they would make it pretty simple, you stand and place your hand over your heart during the National Anthem or you don't play, no matter who you are or how much you are getting paid. I know it probably doesn't make a difference but when I watch the beginning of a game, if anyone is taking a knee during the National Anthem, I turn the game off and don't watch it.

I don't believe this is the place for this type of discussion. This forum is about RVing, not a discussion about anyone's personal views about patriotism.

I don't believe it violates any forum guidelines......it is in the "just conversation" area after all. 🙂

This is a forum for friendly, professional, informal exchange of "NON-RV" related subjects.
Note: Discussions about politics and religion are not allowed at iRV2.

I admit I had to read this statement over and over before I started this thread. I just felt it needed to be said. I am sorry if it upsets some but the subject has me VERY disturbed. I, like many here, served under this flag and still get that "TINGLE" up my spine when I hear the Anthem. I will not apologize for that to ANYONE.

I personally don't see a problem with the discussion and all the responses have been respectful. People are just voicing their opinion in the appropriate forum. If somebody doesn't appreciate the topic, then they have the choice to not read it or participate in it.
