Were you a victim of hurricane Kartina, Rita or Wilma? Did you make a withdrawl from an IRA, 401K or other qualified pension plan after the hurricane? The withdrawl may be considered income. If so you can spread the withdrawl over three years. You did not have to use the $s for hurricane related repairs. I do not have the details, Turbo tax found this for me. If you qualify, consider looking into it.

Tax cut found some deductions for me as well. We get a lot more back than I thought. When I did it by hand I must have missed a couple of deductions. Glad the military gets H&R Block's tax cut for free.
