Fifth Wheel Work and Play TH Advice

Thank you for sharing all your RV experiences good and bad.
Other than renting we are new to the RV experience.

After quite a bit of research we have distilled (with our limited knowledge)
to purchase a 38' Work and Play trailer from Forest River.
Would you be so kind with your experiences, to comment on a profile of our needs if you think we are making the right choice?

First we own a design / build company and currently.
We pull 34' gooseneck trailers to many cities purchasing product samples.
Most of our shipping is done by other companies.

We now are wanting to bring our dogs in a very simple and easy to clean environment.
We wanted a trailer structure that was stout like a fuselage on a plane and have easy access to very limited simple repairs.

We would ideally like to have our own trailer built with the base amenities minus furniture and add our own furniture.
We came very close to buying an RV out of state (a reputable place - or as reputable as you will find) but found we were running through the 'mill" so to speak of get the money and worry about everything else later.

Do any of you have experience with Work and Play?
We considered Cyclones too but felt the weight and superficial upkeep would
keep us doing repairs versus getting out and enjoying a more primitive low maintenance RV.

Have any of you contracted with a dealer for a pretty standard but factory direct build of a unit?

We will be using a F350 2011 Diesel 4x4 that is rated for around 16k GVWR.
The dry unit is 12k and after much research feel we will be well within the trucks capability. Only carrying a golf cart or motorcycle to destinations.
Past heavy goose neck loads have been no problem for this vehicle.

We are considering buying the extended 7year warranty.
We want to hook up and roll many miles to many destinations.
Hoping the aluminum roof and tough superstructure will be design by omission for a very hard driven highway unit.
