Nope, it WAS full before our trip last week, now it's down below 1/2! I'm hoping I can build up those Kroger fuel points before filling it again!

We use the gift cards too, we usually choose all the restaurants where we eat on the 4 point days.
I have had good luck asking the attendant to set the pump for 50 gallons and actually received the discount for the entire 50.

Good for you, I don't have a Kroger discount card but loving current diesel prices currently in Southern California. The price at the station near my house is down to $1.97, I can remember a few years ago when diesel hit $5.00 a gallon those were painful fill ups.

That's great Joe! Hope all is well! I hope the low fuel prices last long enough to for me to take advantage of... My coach is under cover and on blocks until late March. With my luck, the prices will be back to $3+ gallon by the time I need my first fill up!

Joe and Annette, I seem to remember that you had plans to do a year of full-timing, starting last spring or summer. Did you make that happen? We start our FT adventure March 30. Meeting some Mutants in AZ for a retirement party kick-off!

Hi Mel! You've got a good memory! Nope, we're still trying to get off. Annette and I have both had medical issues that has kept us from leaving. We're hoping to get away about March 1st!

Good luck on your adventure!

Finally, our price for diesel dropped below $2/gallon. I just filled up at Costco for $1.999, and that is quite a bit different from the $4.999 when we bought the diesel pusher in 2008.
Sure like the price of fuel, but lots of people have lost their jobs in the Oil Patch in the last few months!
