Finally! RV Garage

As some of you know, my wife and I had a baby boy in November with respiratory failure, neurological issues, ongoing pulmonary issues and now physical therapy, speech therapy, neurological followups and a plethora of others. (Thank you all again for your warm thoughts and prayers - they did work!)

We decided to brave the cold (literally) and relocate back to Michigan to be closer to family and UofM medical center to meet our son's (named Diesel!) needs.

I've been looking, quoting, and exploring the possibilities of my dream shop for years. It so happens, the first house DW and I looked at had our dream house AND our dream shop.

- 62x100 steel building
- Fully insulated and heated
- 25x40 enclosed auto shop, heated with rotary lift (hoist)
- 2 - 10' overhead doors for the auto shop side
- 2 - 14' overhead doors on each end of the building... coming home from a late trip, just pull in, toad and all!

I couldn't ask for anything more!

Thanks for looking.

Edit: Sorry the pics are crooked!

So cool! That is awesome. All we can offer our MoHo is a patch of asphault next to a hedge.

Sounds like you deserve it, great find and a lot of joy will be found in that building for sure. Good for you.

Years ago my wife and I ended our search for our/my dream which included an out building---just could not beat what we had for the money. So we compromised when we retired and I built her sewing room in the bonus room upstairs and converted our 3 car garage into two cars and woodshop my lifetime dream---and we spend many happy hours there---no regrets.

But I know about 50 Michiganers that would like to rent space in your barn---------!!!!!!!

Wow, you could have a really big garage sale!

Very nice and even has a car lift. Congrats if you end up purchasing it.

Nice when can I move in?

Sounds like it is perfect and your entire family deserve this.

Enjoy and I hope your son gets better

All I see is a lot of building and yard maintenance. I'll stick with full timing, thank you.

Wow. I can't get over the pavement. What I like about the setup, is that it's low maintenance. I mean, paying someone to mow is all you need to do before hitting the road. Bravo!
