Spent a year at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center, 1963-1964, and that was enough for me! You people have some cold weather there.

Freezing temps in Winterpeg Manisnowba , today could make it's way over the 49th, tomorrow , sorry again.
Here on the coast , our fearful 18 hour drought is over .
Had a short window of opportunity and cut the grass for the second time this season.
I'll declare it spring; when I can shut off the heaters and sleep with the windows open.
Patio furniture has been out for a month, only been able to do , happy hour ,in the sunshine, twice.

Here in northwest Arkansas, we didn't have "as much" snow and mainly ICE this winter. But we had Brutal temps... We are already noticing many established flowers and bushes that are dead... Guess I wouldn't mind so much if I didn't have to work outside in it............. (and pay the outrageous propane bill)

If you had brutal temps , you were lucky the propane kept flowing.
At -40 you can carry propane in a bucket ;one of the scariest things I've seen , was a wood fire built under a 250 gal. propane tank to get the propane vaporizing .
