Well the fire in Big Bear, CA went from 300 acres to 4000 now, mandatory evacs in 3 cities and its edgeing closer to us!! The MH is plugged in and the fridge is cooling, I filled the Jeep up and got the towbar out. got over a half tank in the MH so thats good to get down the hill. Here we go again feels like 2003 all over again, the Old Fire got us then, and maybe the Butler 2 fire will get us this time. Time will tell. If it gets much closer I will take th MH and Jeep to our home campground and setup, have the DW come and get me so if we have to go I'll take the bike down.

Wish us luck!!

I really hope you guys are safe, if it were me
in your shoes I'd be long gone and take a week
adventure into the next mountain range. Wouldn't want to chance the traffic rush getting out. I'm gonna worry now, so post when
you can, let us know when your safe.

Thanks for the support everyone, its now up to 18,000 acres and for now its going the other way...whew, could change though. Ruthie is on the emergency call list so we will know if it comes this way first. Still, the MH is loaded now and the fridge is cold so all the food in the house will go with.

Thats all for now, take care.
