First trip

My wife and I took our first real (more than over night ) trip in our new to us 06 Revolution. Houston to Albany NY and back with a few select stops along the way. Trip was great and we are very pleased with the entire experience.
Diesel we used was 3.29 to 3.79 (saw it higher) We ate and stayed in four different Cracker Barrel locations on the road and found them all to be quite inviting ,safe and accessible.
I gave the unit a complete service (oil, filters, grease etc) with the exception of the transmission (that will get its service now that I am home)The C-9 pulled the 41 foot bath and a half up the hills without any issues (seemed 65 was no problem on even the longest hill) never downshifted lower than 5th gear.
Around 7 mpg and 65 to 70 on interstates. Strong headwinds albany to Buffalo down 90 (not bad roads as everyone says, quite smooth)
Stayed at Arrowhead Marina 3 days (nice place) Used the washer dryer combo and think it worked great. (nice to put load in and come back to finished dry clothes)
Got to visit friend and fellow RV'r in Pa., daughter in Albany, sister her daughter and kids in Syracuse, mother, brother and cousin (that we always stay at when we travel there)in Buffalo area.
All in all good trip Only complaint is the Norcold was fine when stopped but could not keep up on the road (works fine on propane when parked)
May change to household unit.
All in all it was great, 2 more years till full time.

Sounds like a great trip. I'm glad you enjoyed it. The leaves are getting close to peak here in WNY so you just missed to cavalcade of color we all enjoy so much this time of the year.

Actually we just got home Tuesday
Drove daughters car to Vermont and back through adirondacks color was great
Also when we were in northeastern Pa, my friend flew to Albany to pick up my daughter so she could ride up with us and the color in the Catskills was unreal
view from a small cessna.
Color was one reason for trip timing and it was great.
