Probably. But check the serial number anyway and see if you have #1. It could be possible you're the only one.

Do you leave the flags up all night while your setup at the camp ground

Not familar with the 'Flag Pole Buddy', but if it illuminates the flag, night display is proper. Bob

I have the 16' and leave my flag/s up all the time. Yes Jan and Bob, I have it lighted when the Stars and Stripes are up. If it's just my Happy Hour, US Army, US Coast Guard, Auburn, FSU or similar flag, I don't light it.

I've had the shortest Flagpole Buddy for about 5 years. I use to use two motorcycle LED turn signal assemblies to light it at night. In January I bought their newest offering, a solar light that sits on top of the pole. Solar Flag Light . It has 20 LED's and not only illuminates the flag, but provides a 15' pool of light on the ground at the rear of the coach (unexpexted added security for me). Its pricey at $75.00, but really works well.

BigmoneySr....Used it all week in Quartzsite with wind and no issues. The light output is great.

I'm really anal and added one feature to mine. It has a small eye that senses when it gets dark and turns the unit on. When you store the unit, you have to remove one of the three battery covers (phillips screw) and remove the battery when in storage. I didn't like this idea so I bought a mini toggle switch from Radio Shack ($2.00), opened the unit, cut one of the battery leads and installed the switch. I drilled a small hole and inserted through the case. I can now turn the light on and off during storage.

Storage.....I found that one of those tortilla warmers (round cloth disc with slot) works great for storing the unit and protecting it.

You might like the collapsible 22 fiberglass
flag pole from these folks. http://www.polesandholders.com/home.php

We use ours all the time. Good product and great support from nice folks at SoCal company. Have permanent mount on rear ladder about 8 feet up. Painted mount same color as ladder. You don't even notice it when not in use. Pole and MH have survived Vegas and Agave Gulch winds with two flags attached. They also sell a vast selection of 3x5 nylon personal flags including all military services. Their prices are the best anywhere.
