Same here, hope I never need the rabies shots....

As for the Hep A/B, thanks to the military I'm all caught up, and even updated on smallpox!

This topic comes up every year it seems. I kind of wonder why you want to know if I plan to get one or not. You have made your decision already, why would my opinion on them matter?
I'm not unfriendly, I just wonder why people care whether I'm planning to get one or not.

I don't remember New Year's Eve or New Year's Day,1989-1990. I was delirious with 104 fever from the flu. I've had a shot every year since and only had a very mild case once or twice. I got mine yesterday.

The serum is of dead virus now. No following troubles. If you get sick, you already had something else going before the shot. Maybe the flu!
I didn't get the flu shot ever. Then I got IT. I was 50. First afraid I would die, later afraid I wouldn't. 10 days sweating thru pillows, blankets and mattress.
Don't be silly. Just get it!

We get the shot every year.

You DO NOT get sick from a flu shot unless you are allergic to eggs.

If you feel sick after the shot either you already had something or it is psychosomatic.

Never got the flu shot. There are 40/60 strains of flu and the shot covers 2 or three of them. My doctor recommends not to get them. You will get the flu once every 10 years or so whether or not you gt the shot or not.
My Veterinarian also recommends that my dog be give no shots other than rabies because of the law.

I had Guillain-Barré syndrome about 30 years ago.

Since then every doctor I've gone to has immediately asked me if I had the Swine Flu shot.

I didn't have that shot but I will never take any flue or vaccine shots for the rest of my life.

The human body does pretty good on it's own. Amazingly so.

Not a chance. This is how the government puts tracking chips in people. They are then able to see every letter you type on your computer and every word you say. Don't do it!!!!!

Seriously, no.

Started getting them, last year and got the 2015 version a couple weeks ago. Never had the flu but not getting any younger. They offer them for free, right here at work, so why not?

Have always gotten the shot as DH has some immune deficiencies.....this year I did have sort of a reaction - arm was VERY sore for 3 day, red and I had a fever for two days....felt sluggish, etc. This was the first time this had happened, though and from what another poster experienced, was great experience compared to the FLU.
