It will never work again due to your having reversed the "a" and the "i".

As any English Major knows, this has Upset the Balance of the Universe....

If it is made by Lucas Electrics, You probibly just need a new jar of replacement wireing harness smoke.

There was a container of it on ebay a while back. Really!

Any help would be appreciated as I will need to purchase a new one and am wondering if I missed something on its maintenance schedule.
Apply Scotch until it begins to work or is no longer a problem.

I've found several shots of OUZO chased with a few Molson Triple X usually keep the flux incapacitated to the same level as the can of electrical wire smoke; But beware you might not be able to negotiate a withdrawal from your outdoor recliner using this method.

Elbow grease is a great replacement for any other grease, even though it is more labor intensive. Apply a liberal amount to the reverse crotus valve and that capacitor will likely spring back into action.

The Lucas factory authorized kit is still available and works significantly better that the cheap oriental knock offs. Heed the Flux capacitor warranty disclaimer...

Hey, O.P.:

I notice that in response to my post below an attempt has been made to reverse the damage done in the Original Thread Title:

But I see you're still seeking a solution...a vain effort, I tell you!!!!

The damage is done, the effect is permanent, and I'd like to point out that not only did your Spellony result in the failure of your Flux CapAcItor, it also prevented the End of The World promised by the Mayan Calendar.

We're now condemned for another eight hundred years, and it's all your fault.

Have a nice day!

If you can get Scotty to "beam you up", then you should be OK. They can fix anything up there on the Enterprise.

And while you're there pick up some dilithium crystals.

Lucas, the inventor of darkness!

True story: first wife and I had an MG 1100. Oil light came on but my wife continued to drive it because the light was blue, not red!! Turned out it was a bad sending unit so no damage done!!!!

There is nothing wrong with your Flux Capacitor. It has gone into the safety mode, due to the fact that, the input from your turbo encabulator is in error.
All you need to do is adjust the turbo encabulator up .00005 and all will be fine. Hope this helps .
