Once upon a time, long, long ago... we used to do our grocery shopping after midnight! The 24hr grocery store we shopped at would put their produce and meats out for the following Thursday Morning (weekly sales started that day). We always got the produce at it's best there and the best cuts of meat on the counter.

In my younger days I used to go to the meat market late at night, too.

At the time, we lived in an apartment complex that was kinda a party place. Several of the singles asked me if the grocery store was a good place to meet someone nice (they thought David & I were married at the time.. boy were they shocked when we showed up at our apt in wedding clothes ). I told them it was probably better than looking in a bar.

Sorry about that but you can't be everywhere. Been over in the Lafayette, La. area doing Mardi Gras after leaving West Bank of the Big Easy from last weekend's parades. Now back home & have the coach on the parade route for tomorrows parades. We've had friends for Texas Hill Country and New Mexico here and they have had a ball. Looking forward to Wednesday when it will all be over and we can crash for about 3 days.
