Unhappy Found Camera

While traveling west bound on I 40 in the Texas Panhandle, when the wife and I stopped at a Picnic Area/Rest Stop when we found a container with a camera inside. If you lost the camera and can provide the details. We will return it to you.

Dave, if the owner registered it with the manufacturer for warranty purposes, you might go to that brand manufacturer's web site send an e-mail with the model and serial # & they can perhaps find information on the owner. Of course if the owner didn't register it, then it's pretty much a lost cause.

Good luck, Jim

Dave, you might want to consider visiting ifoundyourcamera.net. If you find a camera (or flash drive or memory card), you email at least 4 photos from the device to the web site with information on where you found it. The web site posts new photos every Thursday. People who visit the site looking for a camera and who recognize any people or locations in the photo contact the web site. Those contacting the web site to claim a camera must be able to provide a description.

That is so nice of you Dave. Great to have wonderful people like you around us otherwise now a days we rarely find honesty in the people. Hope the camera will be with its owner soon.

Question

I am at wits end. I contacted the Manufacture and they can not locate the owner of the camera using the serial number. It is a video camera and uses a tape but the batteries are dead and no charger was in the container. There were some memory sticks but they were blank. Any suggestions on where I can get someone to charge the batteries? I would like to post the pictures on http://www.Ifoundyourcamera.net
in order to return the camera
