Thumbs up Founder of Boys Town.

The Associated Press reports the Rev. Edward Flanagan has been nominated for sainthood. Google for his biography.

I believe he may well be deserving. He was a great person, and did a lot BEFORE death.. After death.. Well. I've not followed since Boys Town.

I'm a bit late in posting on this thread. When you speak of Boy's Town, I think of all the good they've done. And many years ago there was a movie about it with Spencer Tracy and Mickey Rooney. In the movie, the little guy that played PeeWee grew up to be a Methodist minister. His whole family was associated with Hollywood in some way or another. His name was Bobs Watson and even tho' he was a minister, he still has bit parts in movies. He was the most interesting minister I've ever had and it was a pleasure knowing him and his family
