Fresh Baked Bread On The Road

We are full time, in a rig with a residential fridge. Being the consummate "Foodies", we like eating in the rig more than eating out... Home cooking just tastes better, is better for you, and is much more cost effective.

Along those lines, good bread is often an issue... There's not always a store handy when you run out.

Found these in Walmart, though they are sold in virtually every major grocery chain. Rhodes Products – Rhodes Bake-N-Serv

5 loaves for about 5 bucks, thaw, rise, bake... Fresh white, wheat, or sweet breads and rolls daily with fairly little effort. A package of 5 loaves takes up about the same amount of space a one large artisan loaf.

Just FYI for any other "Foodies" out there... Click image for larger version

[emoji23][emoji106] We were surprised how good this bread is. Haven't tried the wheat yet but it's on the shopping list. And we never run out...

We bake all our own bread and other stuff while on the road. I have to have gluten free so we just make our own stuff. That frozen bread would be a great idea and as handy as it gets. We tried in our last M/H to bake in the convection oven and it didn't work that great. We just bought another coach and will try the convection oven again but I think I will be installing an oven.
That aroma of fresh baked bread can't be beat.

Yessir we did... We have an all-electric coach. Bakes perfectly in the convection setting.
