fuel prices

Why is the oddballs complain about burning fossil fuel and how bad it is and want higher fuel prices, but these same people arrive at their hearings or meetings in fossil fuel burning vehicles? or fly in to town in jet airliners

just doesnt make sense
shouldn't they just walk or ride a bike
no wait they cant because it took fuel to make a bike and and a pair of shoes

yeah....
I find it bizarre that we export yet the prices we pay are tied to imports. hmmm
Last I was told, a solar panel will never produce the amount of elec. it took to make it. hmmm
Portland General Electric required SolarWorld to install a natural gas fired generator so that when the plant is in full production it will not draw too much power off the grid and brown out our city. hmmm
Battery manufacturing consumes huge quantities of power and chemicals. hmmm
When it gets pretty windy the turbines are stopped. hmmm

It is laughable

As a worker from the North Slope of Alaska I am always amazed by those who are anti oil.

It's not just their gas burning cars or planes. Hydrocarbons (oil) are found in medicine, soap, tires (for their bicycle), makeup, laptops, plastics, paint, etc...

When they go off the grid which means giving up electricity, make up, medicine, their plastic credit cards, motor vehicle, etc... I will then lend credence to their battle cry, until then I just ignore them.

As a 38 year Drilling Supervisor I agree with all of you. Now that I am a retiree and a senior citizen I speak up when I hear someone talk against oil and gas
