This is pretty nifty. Just enter your ZIP Code in THIS SITE and it tells you which gas stations have the cheapest prices (and the highest) in your immediate area. It is suppose to be updated every evening.

If it is wrong, I will not pay the difference.

Just to brag.
There is a RaceTrak just across the highway from my work where unleaded regular is $1.98... that's right ONE dollar and Ninety-Eight cents a gallon! And, it's 87 octane.

Lucky me!

I just returned from the Rio Grande Valley and gasoline prices were the lowest I've seen in a long time! I bought regular 87 octane gas for $1.87 a gallon and heard on television that there was a station in Harlingen that had regular for $1.82!

Diesel fuel prices were about the going rate as Houston, $2.39-2.49 a gallon.

I guess this is another reason the snowbirders go to the valley for the winter.

I had to do an auto deal in North Augusta, SC yesterday. Bought gas for $1.99.9. Around the Athens area, it is about 2.8 to 2.10. Wally World is selling it a $1.99.9. Still too danged expensive.

Diesel in most places is like $2.45 or so. Flying J a week or so ago at exit 2 on I-75 in south Georgia was $2.35.9 and I was able to get another penny on my frequent fueler card.

I paid $2.72 for diesel, and $2.75 for our turbo PT toad's 91 octane in Fresno. Flying J in Bakersfield is $2.62 for diesel today.

I just got gas in Oakdale, 30 miles west of me, on my way to Livermore...$2.26 for 87...Up here it's anywhere from $2.49 to $2.58 (they claim they have to charge more up here because it has to be trucked up from Oakdale...yeah, right!

In Bay City, Mi, the gas prices are $ 2.55 currently. They drop a couple of cents a day, until they hit about $ 2.38, then later that day, back up to $ 2.55. This up and down has been going on for 2 months now. Just gotta guess when to fill...
