Full time RVing to become illegal ?

I just came across this site where HUD wants to make it illegal to full time in an RV.

What has become of all these laws that they want to pass.

Is it true, I'm not 100% sure buy it's not right.

HUD Wants to Make Living in a Tiny House or RV Illegal

So what do you think about this.

Lost me at the "our economy is in the toilet." Yes, our economy is structured more and more to make the spread between the haves and have nots greater, but I don't think we're in danger of being flushed away.

Quite a long thread about this exists over at rvforum.net The crux of it is the large park models and some of the larger 5th wheels do push up against the rules defining a manufactured home from an RV. The proposed rules, written by the RVIA, are to clarify the differences. RVs are vehicles, registered and licensed for road travel, manufactured housing is not. There was some language in the proposed rule that stated that RVs are not intended as full time housing, which they are not, but the full timers took that language and decided it means that HUD is going to sweep in and declare full timing illegal. Not so, but some people aren't convinced.

Just the idea that some govt. bureaucrat is thinking about it bothers me. Little by little freedom's are being lost because of an ever growing federal govt..
