Funny RV brand/model names.
While my DH and I are on the road we are always on the lookout for other RVs especially another Monaco! So an rv will pass us and we'll comment on the paint, toad etc. Then DH will always ask "what kind of MH/rv was that?" So I'll tell him the name. And I've gotta say someone somewhere had the case of the giggles when some of the model names were handed out! Some brands had sensible, outdoorsey names Grey Wolf, but others... Leprechaun? but I guess i can't talk too much I own a Knight! Anyone question how your rv was "named?"

I can agree with the strange names of RV with strange names. There is only one that right now stands out as I write this - a TT, Zinger.
Simple Definition of zinger
: a quick and clever comment that criticizes or insults someone
Source: Merriam-Webster's Learner's Dictionary
Now, if I've offended anyone, it has nothing to do with your choice of TT , just the name.

I know what you mean!
We have a Gulf Stream "Conquest".
The act or state of conquering or the state of being conquered; vanquishment.
We do not intend to Vanquish anything or anyone!

In 2007 Damon and Gulf Stream simultaneously brought class A toy hauler motorhomes to the market. The Damon "Outlaw" and the Gulf Stream "Bounty Hunter".
Those two oppositely-named competitors always crack me up! There must be some type of a dueling background story that the models' designers need to bring to light.

I have to add another, one of which is currently sitting about 6 sites down from our site - a Tesla toy hauler by Evergreen. The sister models by that company are Amped and Reactor. These are not a play on Tesla electric cars but seem to be on Nikola Tesla*, the arch enemy of Thomas Edison. Oh and that Tesla - huge and does look like a nice 5er though not one's color scheme.

My Thor is a Hurricane... being as I live in Florida, I plan on having someone cut me some vinyl letters that say "Escape Pod" to put below "Hurricane." Seems pretty fitting to me.

At least they had imagination with those names. Sure beats the numbers game the mfr's are playing now.... 36Z, 4369...45OP....etc.

Santara.
I guess since "Santara" doesn't have any real meaning, Coachman decided they could use it on anything they made, so they used the same name on Class A's, Class C's and Travel Trailers. So much for exclusivity.

So Flounder, son of Bounder. Now that's funny. I actually like the simple exterior paint scheme of that rig. They kept the "swirl designers" away!
