We all have seen what spellcheck can do to change the words you type. I do use it but I always proof the text before sending.

This morning it changed "etrailer.com" to "entrails.com" for me.

What are some you have found?

Dear John, this is Alan next door. I am sorry buddy, but I have a confession to make to you. I've been riddled with guilt these past few months and have been trying to pluck up the courage to tell you to your face, but I am at least now telling you in text as I can’t live with myself a moment longer without you knowing. The truth is, I have been sharing your wife, day and night when you're not around. In fact, probably more than you.

I haven’t been getting it at home recently, but that's no excuse I know. The temptation was just too much. This is Alan next door again. Sorry about the slight typo on my last text. I expect you worked it out anyway, but as I’m sure you noticed that my smart phone’s Autocorrect feature changed “Wi-Fi” to ˜Wife”. Technology hey?? Hope you saw the funny side of that.

In the same vein, but not exactly the same. I have my wife in my phone contacts simply as "Wife." So I picked up my phone the other day and told it to "Call wife." It answered "Which one?"

Some secret you're not telling us about, Ed? I'm sure your first wife won’t care, but what about the others.

I've only got one, and she's the only one there's ever been. I told her about it and have tried to repeat, and it won't do it again. I'm not sure she's buying my story, but as long as she gets the RV she may not mind

Was texting my brother that I had bought my fiance a "Cuisinart" for Valentines day one year, and it auto-corrected to "Chainsaw". Not quite inter-changeable.
