I don't know what "Garth" is but I took my 1st wife to divorce court 41 years ago and left her there.

My son went to one recently and had a great time. He's 27 but a real Garth fan. Garth's coming to Mpls in the near future. May have to check it out.

If he had said he took his "DW to a Garth concert" or " to Clint last week", I might(?) have guessed what he meant....(Clint Black was performing in "my neck of the woods" last Thursday).
BTW, unlike "Cher", "Garth Brooks" and "Clint Black" both use surnames.

Great concert, I found out I'm to old. Scream,scream scream, excuse me I have to go to the rest room,excuse me I need another beer. What happened to sit down shut up and watch the show..

Guess I'm an old fart 'cause I had no Idea what was meant by "Garth" 'Course then I never liked him too much, all the fire works and such.....makes me kind'a long for the likes of Ray Price, George Strait, Clint Black, and the original HANK. If you don't know who HANK is I feel sorry for ya.......

We stopped going to the live concerts because they are simply to loud. It's even to loud when I turn off my heaging aides. I guess that translates to we are getting "to old" for all that "fun".

I went to college with Garth. Oklahoma State. We both graduated in Dec 84. I obviously didn't sing as well, though - LOL

I guess I am too old as well. I can't understand why people pay big bucks to go see an entertainer and stand there and scream and try to sing along and make an idiot of themselves.
Would they notice if just the stage hands showed up on stage?

Saw Clint last week. Two thumbs up! It was a smaller venue so I didn't have to deal with the idiot's. Last concert before that was the Damn Yankees with Uncle Ted. It was during the Gulf War. They brought out a huge cutout of Sadam and Ted put an arrow right between his eyes. The place went nuts!
