Gas & Publix Grocery
For those of us near a Publix Grocery Store they are starting the following tomorrow.
For every $25.00 in groceries you buy you can purchase a $50.00 gas card for $40.00.
They have a coupon on the back of their weekly flyer.
Nothing like saving $10.00 at the pump.

The Safeway where I sometimes shop has 10 cents/gallon off after 100 points. Don't remember how many $s for 100 points though.

We have the same thing here Dunner. I'm thinking it's $100 spent in the store gets you the discount. Would be great if I could get the MH into one of their stations...they always seem to have a 90 degree corner going in, or coming out

Same here. I think the CC limit is $75 and the discount is only good for one swipe. Don't know if you could get the 10 cents/gallon off if you gave cash for whatever you thought it would take to fill the tank.

The discounts with Safeway actually accrue over time...I currently can claim a 50 cent discount (shows on the pump when fueling the PU). Does me no good though as I can't get into any of their local stations. I just keep letting them build up hoping to find a spot that I can fuel the beast at.
BTW: in Washington the max discount is up to 100 gallons per purchase

I shop at Kroger's and Martin's for groceries and I get gas points at both places.

Kroger's(Fry's) is closer, but the one with the pumps would be impossible to get in/out of and is further away.

"Gallons or dollars? I only have a 75 gallon tank on my MH."
100 gallon purchase at our Safeway's, and you can accrue the discounts up to a point...not sure what that point is though. Like I said, I can currently purchase up to 100 gallons of fuel at 50 cents off...1 time. Then I have to start over.
Thinking about putting a 100 gallon bed-tank in the pickup to take advantage of it

I took my rig into Safeway to get some .60 off gas, but the pump shut off at, I think, 30 gallons. Only got .03 per gallon off the rest of the fill up.

At $2.50/gal, $75 would be about right for most gas station's cut-off.
I asked from the pump if Flying J could up the limit and they said I would have to come inside.

The "Pentagon Federal Credit Union" credit card still is the best card for fuel. They give you a 5% discount on ALL fuel when the card is swiped AT THE PUMP.
