Fuel prices always go down just prior to elections. You figure it out.

Who's your navigator?? That's a neat trick, you leave Powell River for the south and manage to fuel up in Kelowna?? Perhaps your GPS needs recalibration??

Just drive 20 miles in any direction - out of Monroe County - and watch it drop $.10 or more. They always maintain high prices in Rochester. (lived there all our lives, NO MORE).

I plan on leaving Kamloops Oct. 26 heading to Salt Lake City, over to Cheyenne
and then a diagonal route to Florida.
From there to Quartzsite for the "event", over to Phoenix for the GS rally
then to the west coast up 101 and then back home.

Looking for diesel prices to be dropping like flies.

Maybe with these lower prices, they'll bring back S&H Green Stamps and a free glass tumbler with a $2.50 purchase or more...oh, and check the oil and clean the windshield, please. Tire pressures are good. Ding, Ding.

That's the way it is over here in Thailand, no self service! Wash your windshield and pump your gas too! And depending on how much you buy, free liters of bottled water!! My buddy from Phoenix said on Thursday he paid 2.91 a gal. for gas!

On November 10 the price of gas is going to skyrocket.

We are leaving California that day and headed to Ft Lauderdale Florida and then return a couple weeks later.

So get it while it's cheap....$3.39 here in Clovis CA tonight when I filled up.

Visiting , friends and family, kind of an odd route I know, next leg is to Frenchtown MT. weather permitting, then due south.
49 years of driving Vancouver to Kelowna routes, didn't need a GPS, even recognise some of the deer at the side of the road.
But they did close my favorite , greasy spoon, diner in Flood.

Thanks for the warning, plan to be firmly in place in beautiful downtown , Parker Dam CA. by the first of Nov.
Plan your fuel stops to avoid , Needles CA, it'll be a dollar higher there.

Yes, I'm aware of the prices there and also the old trick of "Hey Mr that tire looks bad you better have me replace it." at a station on the east side of town.

However we like Needles because the Elks Lodge there has several full hookup sites at $20.

Strange that any of those stations manage to stay in business, considering , Flying J, has a reader board , visible from the freeway, showing their prices 21 miles down the road. Pilot & Chevron at the same exit. I-40 AZ exit 9
Vellaro ( sp ) was closed and boarded up when we were through in Jan.
