Gas Prices

are plummeting here in north metro Detroit. Dropped 30 cents in about a week.

Anyone else experiencing this nice dip?

Just in time for fall camping!

Filled our toad today at $3.129. A station in Indianapolis was at $2.789 on Tuesday night. Gas was $3.049 at station in Indy across from our favorite breakfast place yesterday.

Can't figure it out but here in Bring Cash while the price of oil dropped $10.00 a barrel over last fall's price the price of gas has dropped just about 3.5 a gallon (1 a liter)

Around here the price for gasoline is under $3 a gallon and diesel is down to $3.499 at the lowest price.

Gas is around $2.89 in Denver and Colorado Springs, still about $3.29 in the mountains. Anybody going to Aspen? Still well over $4.00 there, but I guess if you can afford Aspen, the price of gas is the least of your worries.

Sorry, diesel is about 70 cents more.

California has the 3rd highest gas prices in the nation, behind Alaska and Hawaii. Our government is trying to remedy that, if they get their way the price per gallon will go up by as much as $.76.

Current glut in oil. Tankers out there on seas unable to drop their loads I hear. Crude is dropping in price daily. Could be a banner year for the low side of purchase power USA. But then the switchover in summer may be a disaster again.

IT gets better if your grocery store has fuel perks
Wal*mart -3 to -10 if you fill up a Wal*mart gift card in the store and stick it in the pump to fill your tank.. More with a Wal*mart money card but the additional savings are not worth it. NO LIMIT ON GALLONS.

Kroger I think it is 10 cents off for every hundred spent, Max 20 gallons.

Bi-Lo (here in the south) 5 cents for every fifty dollars, plus some items can get you 2, or 3 or 5 or more cents off just for buying that.

Points expiere after a period of time (Kroger the end of next month, Bi-Low I think 3 months) but I saved up a bunch back in South Carolina.

Walked into gas station attendant said HI, What's UP? I answered I do not know but I know what's DOWN... The price of Gas.

Handed him my Bi-Lo card, BEEP (he scanned it) price dropped -1.98 per gallon. (Of course I only got 20 gallons that trip)

Now that I'm stuck with a blown Motor Home engine, I can only get about a maximum of 12 gallons,, beyond that the danger of walking is way too high (12.5 gallon tank)
