Wasn't it "That '70's Show" that had the quote . . . ."So there's this car that runs on water . . . ."

Well visited the web site and it was very very very very lacking in what I'd call information.. : It is possible to design a system where you demonstrate by making sure the tank is bone dry, then you add water, and it starts and runs. This is a solid demonstaration and it sure looks legit.. I mean you take the water out of the tank and it stops running.

By the same token you can take a special container (lantern shped) and it will not light till you add water,, Once you add water it lights with a nice flame.

it's called a Carbide Lantern.. Look it up

In the demo I cited.. Carbide is lining the tank.

Wikipedia notes

Quick look up on internet.

Meyer's claims about his "Water Fuel Cell" and the car that it powered were found to be fraudulent by an Ohio court in 1996

Stanley Meyer died suddenly on March 20, 1998 after dining at a restaurant. His brother claimed that during a meeting with two Belgian investors in a restaurant, Meyer suddenly ran outside, saying "They poisoned me".[1] After an investigation, the Grove City police went with the Franklin County coroner report that ruled that Meyer, who had high blood pressure, died of a cerebral aneurysm.

Guys,

Before you get too "wrapped around the axle" with this topic, check out the info the OP has shared with this forum. "Your Business", really! I frankly don't care where anyone here is from, but it smacks of disrespect to put something like this on your page. Can't be content to just leave those items blank.

The OP doesn't have to concern himself about me responding to anymore of his posts.

It was my intent in posting this to get a conversation started and hear different varying viewpoints regarding this interesting area of advancement that is very controversial as it involves technology that goes against traditional university taught physics.

Is there anyone in Ontario that could stop by 999 Boundary Rd. Oshawa ON L1J 8P8
and take a look at this unit themselves?

Actually that is not a water powered generator. Gravity powers it, not water. Water is just the connecting rod. .. But that is a whole nutther level of technology.

May be, but I have always heard it called Hydro Power, not gravity power. lol

I spent my working career at a Nuclear Power Plant, and it was not called a thermal generator either.

Does anyone actually PERSONALLY KNOW someone who is using one of these. I noticed that there are a lot of mentions of "businesses somewhere" running them, or "there is a guy" that has one, or wife's best friends hairdesser's pet monkey, etc, but no one actually seems to have ever really TESTED, and PROVED that they work. Once again, call me a skeptic, but sounds like a conn job to me!

Like many things that sound too good to be true, I'll believe it when I can see it.

Not going to say it can't be done, just thinking if it has been, there would be a lot more talk regarding it, and applications using the power system other than as a generator.

Tv show mysteries at museum did a show on something like this.

Quackery back in the day where machine in one room doing magic and helpers in next room operating hidden levers.

Would need clear testing by independent controlled place before any belief.

And considering that it is just a backwards fuel cell they can use those terms to possibly fool folks.

And with the fuel cell for auto industry if real or even possible it would be a headline somewhere.

It would probably be illegal in CA due to the drought.
