George Strait tickets in Vegas run from $175 to $2050 bucks a pop. And people will buy them all.

I am a big fan of George Strait, but no way would I pay that kind of money to see anyone. To top it all off you probably wouldn't get to see or hear him with the crowd all yelling and screaming and trying to sing along. To each their own.

This is part 2 of George's "The Cowboy Rides Away" final tour. Part 1...we saw him in Las Vegas with tickets just under $100.
It was a very good show.

We have tickets for Part 2 in San Diego at $84. Opening act is Miranda Lambert.

There are front row and back stage access tickets with 4 digit prices, but we will enjoy the show just as much from the middle of the stadium seats (no not the nose bleed section).

If you are trying now to get tickets...those are scalper prices.

Sorry folks, concerts by performers like George will all be sold out well in advance.

Safe travels

Y'all just need to start liking the unpopular musical artists now. It is much easier on the pocketbooks.

You gota catch um when they are young! Ever been to the Poteet Strawberry Festival? George was born there in 1952. Saw some great talent there last year. My Son was a DJ for a major PNW radio station. We have been to some unbelievable concerts, back stage with Rita and others. Been to Nashville a few times, even sung on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry.

But $175 is starten to be reel money!

George Strait is the best male country singer in the last 20 years IMO, but I will not pay such a ludicrous price. About 1/3 of ticket price goes to the ticket seller company.

All the screaming and clapping and noise making shuts off the music for me so I'll stick to getting all the free music off the Internet. I have enough songs on an iPod to play continuously for over a month. Any time I hear a song I like or DW hears one, we just download it for free.

There will be a bunch of YouTube videos of GS's performance and those are free downloads as well. There are websites that if you put in the URL to the YouTube video it will convert it to an MP3 an let you download the song.

Let the scalpers keep their tickets.
