I think I will stick with my $12 per year stamped metal license plates.

Anyone who buys one of those has more money than sense. Buy the stamped metal and donate the rest of the $ to your favorite charity. That way you can do good and not look like a fool.

What? And take away jobs from hard working prison inmates?

If I didn't know what date it was I'd swear it's April 1st. $800 for a license plate? But then I still can't understand why anyone would spend $700 - $1100 on a silly phone so . . .

My wife says she'd like one if it was capable of displaying custom messages to other drivers via voice commands. Not sure I'd want to in the car with her when she issues them though. Might have to step in between her and the other driver when we get to the next stop light. Come to think of it, I might issue a few myself.
