Getting answers in the forum

There are a couple of ways to do this:
1) Obvious way is starting a thread. Really helpful if you choose to put a question about a Winnebago in a Winnebago forum, because the Winnebago members know a lot about their rigs. But you have to wait for someone to reply and hopefully you get the right answer...yet good intentions count for a lot.
2) Search this website. If you want to study boon docking or trailer hitches, just look for the itty bitty box up there and write in boon docking and bingo you get a whole bunch to read and you get it right now, not having to wait for the right person to respond. You don't even have to put it in as one word boondocking.
Just tap on the search button.
3) Use the broader power of the internet. Just put your search term in your browser..mine is Safari. The internet vacuums up all the stuff on this and other forums, so it could give you links to here and lots of other places. and also articles - immediately.
4) Call my mom...she's 91, and will answer the phone, and remembers a lot from her camping days. Just pm me for her number. She is anxiously awaiting to talk to you...she is getting tired of watch Judge Judy reruns.

Everybody used to answer their phone...before they came up with the answering machine. Cell phones eliminated land lines, text messaging eliminated voice communication, smart phones eliminated the need to even contact a human being. Hard to find anyone these days that is willing to interrupt whatever is so important that they are doing to answer a phone. Now all you mom has to worry about are the grandma scammers. We got contacted while travelling by a supposed long, lost nephew...who was in desperate need of $1000 being wire transferred immediately.

When I need an answer for anything, I don't use Google...

I ask my DW, she knows everything!
