Congratulations!!. I presume you are located in Idaho (your signature is not completed), but I would say when retiring at this time of year any direction is good.

I will be joining the retired ones group July 1st.

Stay in the northern U.S. and Canada during the summer months - it's too hot in the southern U.S. In late fall, head south or west to California. The maritime provinces and Newfoundland are beautiful in the summer. So is Algonquin provincial park in Ontario. See them all.

Idaho, I hope you do better with your reiring than I did. It took me the better part of 2 hours to get used to it! Good luck and just let them wheels turn-direction is only a state of mind, Ken...

Anywhere your heart desires sounds like a wonderful destination. I have a few "retirement rehersals" (vacations) planned this summer, but a bit closer to home this year. Official retirement about a year and couple months away. Congratulations!!

Idaho,

Congratulations on your pending retirement and welcome aboard.

I retired about a year ago and love it. Some of our best trips have been unplanned. Just wander about and take the roads that look most interesting at the time.

Regards,
