How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

And the Corvettes didn't use plastic (fiberglass is a plastic)?

Loved those split window Vettes. I think my favorite Chevy of that era was the 1958 Impala convertible.

Bingo. My feelings perzactly. When I was 17, a friend got a '58 convertible, black with red/white interior. All I could see was green (envy).

BUT-

Another friend got a 58 'vette for graduation. He brought it home from the dealer, 25 miles away, and was showing it off. He came down the main street at 90+ and hit a cottonwood. His head, severed from his torso, hit a front window about 50 feet down the street.

Happy graduation.

I'd love to have my '57 Chevy Nomad back...and my 'Vette...and the poodle skirt-attired cup holder.

And alot of these vintage will be running up and down Woodward Ave. mid August for the Woodward Cruise. If you've never been it's an event you should attend at least once.

Thanks for sharing Lori.
