Going South to Mexico or going east to Florida

Good Morning all
We would like you to share your thoughts on this matter with us.
We just sold our class A and bought a new Class B+ and we just can't decide whether we should go to Cabo Mexico and beyond or rather go east to Florida from west coast for next five months.
Thank you

I would vote for Zihuatanejo.

My quick answer to that is, Stay in the United States. There is a lot to see here, and any business you support needs all the support they can get. I would never go to mexico.

Al, Michigan.

MEXICO? Are you kidding, you may never come back. You may not come back from Florida either but your chances are better in Florida. Stay in the US.

Has Cabo recovered from the hurricane? Maybe this is the year to explore down to Puerto Vallerta.

If you need diesel is ULSD available now in Baja? We love the people and the land and sea in Baja but I would not consider going one rig alone.

Depends on your reason for travel. If all you are looking for is warm weather than Florida is a good choice. If you want to experience a different culture, Mexico.

If $ is a consideration check out the price of fuel and tolls in Mexico as well. Mexico is not cheap anymore. You'll also want to make yourself familiar with the scams used to sort innocent tourists from their cash in Mexico, particularly by PEMEX attendants.

Depends on the location in Florida. In some you would not know the difference between the two.

How uncanny we had the same dilemma following the Hurricane on Baja. We were planning on RVing down early November, having the youngest and her fiancÚ fly in to Cabos and treat them to swimming/snorkelling with the whale sharks etc. We were really excited with our routes and stops and safety measures all mapped out months in advance then after the hurricane, all the looting going on and friends pulling out from their business in Cabos, due to the problems we decided against it. We've ended up coming to Fla, taking a week cruise around the caribbean and getting our snorkelling and diving fixes that way. We of course were disappointed but .........

For sure once things calm down hopefully and return more to normality we'll replan for the Baja another time.

FWIW that's what we've done for this year.
