Was just wondering what I can expect to pay to rent a golf cart for three months in Florida next year. Will be staying in the Port Charlotte area next January through March and was wondering what a fair price would be.

I'm in the Fort Myers area. Friends of ours are paying $250 to 300 per month. You may want to reserve now as they rent out fast.

I do not know the price in FL but do at a Park I visit in MI.. 70/day

Story:
Contract and park rules BOTH say that to operate a Golf Car you have to be 21 and have a valid Driver'sLicense.

Park also has a speed limit 5MPH
Family rents a GolfCar

Take it across the foot/bicycle bridge to the family Center (NOTE the lack of "Golf Car") Forgot something.

Mama tosses the keys to Junior (14 years old, no license) so he can cart back to the trailer for it.

He takes out of the family center parking like the proverbial Bat,,,Full Throttle...

The Pool Supervisor/Water quality Control Supervisor sees him and hollars as he approaches the bridge

HE turns to give her the single finger salute (Middle finger in case anyone wonders)

Misses the bridge and splashes down in the lake,,Took a crane to recover the Cart and an ambulance for him.

Rather than give up the membership.. Family bought the park a brand new golf car.

You should look into buying your own (if that's your thing). If it cost $200-$300 per month you could own a nice one after two seasons and you would be getting quite a bit of use out of it. We only camp on weekends and we would not be without ours. I also did not try to justify the cost when we bought ours.
