Good Food

We just visited one of our favorite restuarants in central California, Farnesi's on Hwy 99 at Ave. 16 in Madera. We found this great homestyle restaurant several years ago when we stopped for the night. It is just west of Hwy 99 so access is easy.
Tonight my wife had the fried prawns (4 lg prawns) and I had the ground beef steak w/gravey. The dinners include, shrimp cocktail of fruit cocktail, salad and a bowl of soup (minastrone) which is great, bead and butter and desert. The dinners come with a large portion of meat, mashed, baked or french fried potatoes. We brought home the soup and a portion of our meal. Everything is always fresh and good. We also each had a beer and our total was $33.00. What a deal!! There is plenty of parking across the street at the shopping center. If you are traveling on Hwy 99 and are hungry this is the place to stop.

I am writing this place down on our list of places to go to. We will be heading to CA in the next few weeks and may have to check this place out! Thanks
