Got broken into

Stopped at a Crackle Barrell in Bradenton last week to get breakfast.Left both pooches, Cindy and Angle, locked everything and went in to eat.
Got back in about a half an hour and unlocked coach and when we got in,I noticed the back bedroom lite was on. Asked BH why the lite was on and then realized that the bedroom slide was out.
We had been robbed. All my wifes jewelry was gone, as was my Kindle Fire, but dogs were still there. They even locked it up when they left.
As anyone who owns a coach with slides, you have to do certain things to enable the slides to operate when parked. Whoever broke in knew the procedures and also either had a master key or "jimmied" the lock, which I feel that that is what was done.
Contacted the police and they made a report.
Bottom line here is to be aware of the fact that some one or some people are visiting parking lots with RV's and have the ability to break and enter even when locked.

Sorry for your loss. I find it amazing that they entered the coach with dogs present. Probably high on drugs.

Why would they run out the slide?

Sorry for your loss. Who's BH ?
How many locks do you have on your door ? Some have two . One unlocks all the basements as well and one is a dead bolt.

If the OP coach is anything like mine, if you don't open the bedroom slide you can't get to all the cabinets.

The slide on our coach for the bedroom need to be out, even part way to, to gain access to the drawers where BH's jewelry was stored.

Can't stand a thief. Any chance Cracker Barrel has security cameras in the parking lot area?

Regarding security cameras, I found out that Target has their's focused on the entrance to the store, not at the parking lot. That was after my son's truck got broken into.

Also begs the question of how the thief knew where the jewelry was kept. Sounds like the person(s) had some inkling of your habits. Coming in while the dogs were there, knowing how to access areas where you keep your valuables, & locking up doesn't sound like someone on drugs to me. JMHO
