Gray and black water tanks might freeze?
Well I may have screwed up. In just 24 hours it went fro 50 degrees to 20 and it is supposed to get down to 0 over next couple days. I drained the fresh water tank and lines but failed to dump my gray and black water tanks. They are nearly full. And now the pull valves are frozen shut. It will not get above 32 for about a week. I do have 2 gallons of RV antifreeze in each tank. Should I be concerned about my tanks busting?

Yes! some how get heat in the water bay...........get the valves open and dump them, where ever, better than everything breaking........Even take a hair dryer and try to thaw, then dump.....

If you have one or two small ceramic electric heaters, you could place them in the water service bay for an hour or so. This should thaw the slide valves and enable you to dump.

Took your advice and used a hair dryer to free up the valves. Tanks are now drained. Thanks very much!

For next season you probably should replace the seals in the dump valves ... they can tear if the handles are pulled while frozen.
