I got a kick out of the road work signs on Hwy 70 thru Aspen to Denver. They were orange and black in child's printing and said," Please drive careful, my dad works here".

The one we saw just outside of Ashville .KY.was on a secondary road which read that there were two campgrounds within 20 miles. However the sign read:
Trucks, Bus's and Vans should avoid this road due to tight turns. Huh Do we just drop out of the sky?

There is a Toad Suck, TN, too, I think.

Anyway, Toad Suck, AR, is just a little ways from Conway, AR. One famous country singer chose his stage name by thowing a dart at a map of Arkansas. Had he missed by just a little, he would have been Toad Suck Twitty!

While it's not funny (and I'm not sure it's even there, anymore), there used to be a set of highway number signs somewhere up around LaGrange, TX. There was a short distance there that you were on a northbound, eastbound, southbound, and westbound highway, all at the same time. Like, 6 North, 290 West, 80 East, and 270 South, or some such thing. Just a number of highways all sharing a short little connector that actually ran east and west.

While in New Zealand, near a Senior's center there was a road sign that said
"Seasoned Persons". I wondered what they were seasoned with.

Saw something similar at what used to be at the time a VoiceStream call center (Now T-Mobile), speed was calculated from the average of several different vehicle models idling in first gear.

There's a sign close to Mossyhead, FL that reads "SASQUATCH ZOO". I think they may have found BIGFOOT! When I find pic I'll post it.
