Note the front license plate on this "honey dipper" truck.

Not a road sign, but seen on the road. Behind a big class A. Across the back, in big letters, they had named their rig - "Past Tents"

I actually saw on on a city bus recently - a public service ad, I assume. It read "Illiterate? call 1-800 *** ****". I don't remeber the actual number, but you've got to question the person who wrote the ad.

That reminds me of the drive thru ATM machine with braile instructions.

It is common in the big city like New York, for blind people to take a cab to the banks ATM. If I were blind and had to give my PIN to a New York cabby. I'd spend most of my life changing my pin.

Agree with Dick's very insightful observation regarding vision-impaired persons using taxicabs...
Also, don't forget there are numerous "walk-up" ATMs... I suspect the ATMs are standardized so they can be quickly changed out in case of a failure and to reduce manufacturing costs.

I'm convinced that New York City has the best or at least bluntest signs. DONT EVEN THINK OF PARKING HERE and my favorite NO URINATING ON WALLS OR SIDEWALKS. I kind of understand that one though, have you ever tried to find a public restroom in NYC?

This can be seen from I 81 in Virginia near Marion: If you look to the hillside you will see two large water tanks, one has the word HOT on the left one, the other has the word Cold on the right one.

Just before November 2nd. as we were on our way to DollyWood we saw a good road sign in Mississippi that said "You Can't Fix Stupid But You Can Vote Them Out". Looks like it may have had an impact.

Charles, you made me laugh again. Thanks
Also, the hot and cold water tanks are a riot. Aren't we a nation of nuts? That is a good thing!
