Prosecution tried the wrong case........

The jury found her NOT GUILTY of "Murder" and there was no proof of "premeditation".

The charge should have been "Criminal neglect resulting in death" or one of a varieties of "manslaughter" that would most likely have resulted in a conviction.

Plain and Simple the prosecutor "blew it"!

The prosecutor had no hard evidence . All they had was weak circumstantial evidence. The law says beyond a shadow of doubt. There was no hard evidence in this case.

George Anthony,ex county sheriff's deputy guilty and he knows it.Who else could screw up a crime better than a cop,and make it so his daughter does no jail time.He knows what happened, and someday the truth wil come out.

That was always my 'take' on it. The nanny "Zanny Nanny"? Hello! Drug the baby, tape her mouth, stick her in the trunk and go party. One time, the poor thing suffocated, so her loving mommy drove around for weeks with her body in the trunk. Not premeditated murder...but she killed her, just the same.

Since NONE of us were in the courtroom or for that matter, none of us were an intricate part of this trial, then we have to trust the decisions of 12 very different people, the jurors, that were there day after day to see and hear everything and by the end of the trial, had ALL of the information, evidence, testimony, facts and circumstantial evidence presented to them. If there were even one of them or possibly more that had been convinced by the state of Florida that Casey Anthony was guilty of the charges that the state had filed against her, there would have been a hung jury but there wasn't. The jury was unanimous in just 11 hours of deliberation. The justice system works. Unfortunately for the people & the state of Florida, in my opinion, they reached too high and had too many high level charges presented to the jury that they needed to evaluate the evidence on. if the state had throttled back their indictment based on all of the circumstantial evidence that they had, I think that the jury might have brought forth a different verdict.

Only my opinion.

Something terrible happened to Caylee that we will most likely never know, however, look at what eventually happened to OJ, he's doing 33 years jail time in Nevada. I firmly believe that if Casey has any thread of guilt hanging over her soul, she will eventually pay one way or the other.

While most know that the family covered up something??? the State of FL proved nothing. People here are blaming the jury, they did what the judge asked.

From what I heard second hand from one of the jurors you are 100% correct. They had no "real" evidence that "she" murdered anyone. The father and mother also had a part so it was split 3 ways "who killed the child" and who covered it up. The jury was told to vote on only 1 person and the prosecutor didn't prove she was the only one involved. They really screwed up this case...

Not guilty, by unanimous vote of a jury of 12 peers.

Lied? How many times are the people of the world lied to?
