Sounds too me like you have offensive neighbor's, Where are your rights? Leave um up. I only do Christmas lights and most are solar so they are not on all night.

I would leave them. We don't decorate, but I'm certainly not offended. If I was offended, it would be my problem and not yours. Have fun and leave 'em up!

Definitely keep them up. One neighbor does not speak for the entire neighborhood. Can you post a picture?

Agreed. That's the great part of living in America (freedom - including freedom of expression), but it's also the difficult part. When someone does something you find offensive (like say a young man who is wearing has his pants around his knees and all you see are his boxers) it is difficult indeed, but comes with this great country of ours. Would love to see a pic of what was so offensive, but I would say "sorry you find it offensive" and leave it up.

I'm gonna need to see pictures to make an informed decision! The state your neighbors hail from matters as well, I have found that people from some regions have more difficulty finding the joys in life.

No matter what you do, someone's going to be offended. There's a home in our housing development that hangs dolls (some baby dolls) by nooses from a tree in their yard for Halloween. I don't care for that, but I don't go telling them what they can or can't have in their yard. Heck, they may find MY decorating distasteful

New neighbors? That explains it. Tell them to go away and don't have their kids stop by for candy

I'd tell them that I'm sorry they are offended but they will remain, then suggest that perhaps they should close their blinds.

I want one where did you find it? I would have it posted to be seen. Hope your garage has a good view.
I like it. Thanks.

Update currently in our winter spot and have more to hang, heck Christmas isn't here yet so I still have those to hang.
I love them. And I also pay to have them lite.
