On this eve of Memorial Day Weekend I extend to everyone a very happy and safe holiday. Don't forget to offer a moment of thanks, in your own way, to all those brave Americans past and present, military and civilian, who have put it all on the line so that we may enjoy the freedoms we have. Happy Holiday!! and Happy Trails!!

Today, Friday May 27 has special significance to me...I returned home from two tours in Vietnam.
Memorial Day is about honoring those "who gave their all".

Chet, thanks for your service. Spent some time at AnKhe also. That was one badass pass. Flew with the 498th Med Company Helicopter Ambulance (Dustoff 23) Thanks FatDog for the comment.

Too many did not come home. We put flowers on way too many graves this weekend. Thanks to all of you who answered and were able to fullfill the call of duty.
