May your blessings outnumber
The shamrocks that grow,
And may trouble avoid you
Wherever you go.

Talking

I got to work this AM to find that despite my having a bit 'o the Blarney in me, I forgot to wear my 'green'! A co-worker in similar trouble made a paper shamrock and taped it to her blouse. So I did the same. Then again, come lunchtime I could eat the "Cornbeef & Cabage", that would turn me green and I'm covered!

That's an important one when you own a RV.

We will be going to the American Legion tonite, they are serving corn beef and cabbage. And no I have never heard of adding apple cider vinegar to it. Thom and I were members for a long time for New World Celts down in Florida, all kinds of Irish and Scottish never heard or saw any of them put apple cider vinegar on it either.

We do use apple cider vinegar on fish and chips thou.

No Vinegar on the fish & chips. Mom always had it out @ Dinner time from as far back as I can remember.
The Corn Beef & Cabbage & New Potatoes & Carrots turned out very well, going to have a Corn Beef Sandwich for lunch today, No Vinegar

vinegar

Growing up we always had apple cider vinegar on our cabbage (not the whole plate). Can't eat boiled cabbage without it.

We're of German decent not Irish.
