Lord yes!! Too many to count. This Southern bunch will have a rally at the drop of a hat or at the slightest hint.

I met Don and Bev Morgan, aka Petro, and really enjoyed our time together. Don and Bev represent all that is good about IRV2 and campers in general. I would really like to be able to meet more members and take on some trips with Don and Bev but time and money isn't working in our favor for now. When things turn around we'll definately be going to some of the IRV2 rallies and meeting members that I only know through this forum.

I have the sticker but have not met anyone else. Being that we all are RVers and friendly folks by nature, I would like to meet some of you.
My sticker is on my left rear Rock Guard and says CHUCK 1935 on it. If you see me wave or say Hi !!

In Anacortes, WA we met and had a great time together. Never met anybody on the go or Camground. Got the iRV2 Sticker in the front windshield and a big 'GOLDEN' plaque on the ladder

That was a good meeting, TW, even though family/pet issues kept us from participating fully and only about half the original group that signed up actually made it.

Of course, after it rained most of the time of the get-together, it's been gorgeous weather this week! We might make 72 today and tomorrow.

Wayne and earline

I think it was the week of may 24th that My Willa and I arranged to meet Wayne the Marine and his lovely wife Earline. We met at a KOA down in Fort Mill. We made arrangements that we would be side by side in the camp ground so we could just walk and talk.

Wayne and Earline are delightful.
Wayne is a retired Marine. He is a large man, taller and heavier than me but he is a big ''teddy bear''. Fun to talk with and we shared some ''sea stories'' about when we were in the military. He is a great guy with a love for animals and what I would call a slightly ''watered down Marine attitude''. He has mellowed out over the years but still every bit a MARINE and damn proud of it.

His wife Earline is a delightful lady with a quick wit and a mind that is sharp as a tack. She is quick with a hug and a delight to talk to in everyday conversation. Her sparkling eyes and wonderful smile are very disarming and two minutes after you meet, you feel like you have known here all your life.

Willa and I really loved our time with them. We ate and laughed and talked for many hours about our lives and our experiences in life. I am very proud to call them friends and we look forward to our next meeting with these guys. They live in Texas and us in NC so encounters will be chancy to say the least. Willa and I just may go down to Texas this winter for a campground visit with them.

Wayne and Earline are our friends now and we look forward to our next meeting with them. I will encourage my fellow IRV2 people that if you get a chance to meet Wayne the Marine and Ms. Earline that you should not pass up the opportunity to make these wonderful folks your friends.

Thank a Veteran for your freedoms....

No, but would like to. But wait, we have met a lot of nice folks while camping, forgot to ask them if they were IRV2 members, now that I think about it, they didn't ask me either.
