He is taking my cadillac
I had been putting off telling My Willa that I was having trouble with my left eye. We got new glasses about two months ago and I figured that would help with my problem with my left eye but it did not do much good. Finally, last Sunday I told her that she needed to make me an appointment down to Graystoke Eye Care center so they could take a ''look, see'' at my left eye. Her first statement was how long I had been bothered with m left eye and I told her about a month. Her next statement was more Obseen. ''Why the heck didn't you tell me about this before now''. I tired to explain that I thought it was going to ''go away'' when I got use to the new glasses and it had not. It seems that, through my left eye everything is ''fuzzy'', like looking thru a foggie window. She called Monday morning and got me an appointment at 3:30 and we rode over there. They asked a lot of questions and put some drops in my eyes to dilate my pupils. A very young doctor came in and did an exam on my eyes and said I had a Cadillac and I promptly told him that I was a Ford Man. Me mumbled something under his breath that I could not understand due to my bad hearing. He asked me if I wanted to get rid of the Cadillac and I promptly told him that ''I do not have a Cadillac but we have a Classic Tiffany for sale if he is interested''. He then said again that he was only interested in the Cadillac and he would make all preparations to ''take it'' it if I would give him the ok. I could see right away that he was a hard man to talk to because he was so young and apparently not listening to me because I was old. He kinda started talking to Willa and they made arrangements to take away my Cadillac next Monday. He said the government would pay and that I should not worry because it would not hurt a bit and he had done this ''take away thing'' many times before and he was a good Cadillac remover. Again I tried to explain that WE DO NOT HAVE A CADILLAC, we have a Luxxor, a Classic Tiffany, a 34 Benz convertible, and a 53 Bentley MkIV. I heard Willa tell him that she would explain to me later and we would be over to the hospital early Monday morning.. I have never sold a car at a hospital before but, since he is a doctor, I guess that is where he likes to do business.
Now, according to My Willa, I am scheduled to get rid of a Cadillac that I do not own, that the government is going to pay for, that will not hurt a bit, to a young man that don't listen to old people, because old people are hard of hearing. Them drops they put in my eyes gave me a headache because of the bright lights and I am totally confused now. I told Willa that we could go over to the hospital on Monday morning but we would drive the Tiffany and hope that this young man was too stupid to notice that it is not a Cadillac that he is going to take off me, that the government is going to pay for and it wont hurt a bit
I will keep you guys posted as to how the sale goes and in the mean time, I hope someone can recommend a good eye doctor, that don't need a Cadillac, that can look at my left eye and see why everything is so ''fuzzy''.....
(cough cough)
God keep our troops safe till they can come back home to us..
See you at the National Rally but you may be ''fuzzie'' thru my left eye.

Hmmm....simular situation occurred when one of our dogs thought he heard me say that I was taking him to get "tutored"...that incident may have resulted in some disappointment on his part. Just tell that whippersnapper Doc to keep his mitts off the Bently and the Benz and they can have whatever Cat..., I mean Cadillac they want! And good luck...seriously.

Lost mine 2 years ago. Insurance paid the Dr. directly. Still have the Subaru. Now only need "cheaters" for reading. Saw the Dr. last Tuesday. Still looking good.

Seajay, don't let Willa get glasses. She'd leave your ugly face in the blink of an eye. Well, maybe she's just hanging around because of your charm.
To all: I have met the "Seajay" Couple, and Willa is so sweet, good looking, and charming. Seajay on the other hand is "PC looking." (Plumber's Crack)
seriously, good luck.

It was only a few days ago we were "missing" you and not even enjoying the peace. I'm going to avoid beer, picked eggs and slim jims (Maybe not the beer).
I can hardly wait 'till you have your Maserati removed.
After the recovery it's gonna be pretty tough ignoring the bathtub putty knife.
God Bless, T&M

Ever since they took my cadalacs(see what 48 days on a Navy Ship does for yer spelling) I can drive my little pontiac at nite and not see them funny halos coming at me. Even the guy at the driver licence place knew they took my cadalacs while I was taking my eye test.
Some day maybe I'll have the pleasure of meeting up with you and we can have a cool one and discuss our cadalacs.

I had those caddies removed in my 40s. Something about too much UV exposure. I did have two cars with sun roofs. No, I was an alpine climber in the Himalayas for too long. Too many bouts of snow blindness.

Be careful - I've seen this before. To me it sounds like he may be planning to poke a sharp stick in your eye and then remove your Cadillac while you are all fuzzy. On the plus side, all the nurses will look as good as your imagination (and Willa) will allow. May you have a quick recovery, but be able to milk the nursing and sympathy as long as possible.

Good luck at the hospital and remember that you can't go sky diving for awhile after you get rid of the Cadillac. Keep some eye drops handy as some folks get dry eyes for a spell afterwards. Not us as your stories keep mine wet all the time
