Yep, 32 and died of blood clots in her legs that went to her lungs. Older boy discovered her body and called my wife, then 911.

Mr_D, sorry for your loss and it must be hard to raise grandchildren. I would do it if I had to but I'm a little old to keep up with them.
srzak, Health has not kept us from traveling, but it has kept me from enjoying it as much as I would like. I have a bad leg and hip, for which none of my doctors agree to a cause or cure. Therefore, I can't walk as much, hike, or be on my feet for long periods. But, I keep trying.

The not walking to far is a drag. Does slow things down

You never know what life throws at you next. I've heard we never get more than what we can handle. Sometimes it sure takes us to our limits. That's why we need time to get out and enjoy.

Exactly why DW and I decided to hit semi-retirement now to travel the world and head south to do lots of hiking, biking, golfing, etc. I'm 49 and she's 47. We will work part time in the summer months when we are back home. I'm a wildlife/nature photographer and love the outdoors but I know anything can happen at any time and I don't want to look back and say "I wished....".

Yep, health is certainly affecting our RV'ing now. When we started in 2001 we were both in good health. We had our own business which limited our travel. We sold the business and retired in april 2010 but by that time we had started to have health issues. My wife has had two lower back operations and one neck operation since then and is still recovering. I have started having bad pain in the left arm from a bulging disc in my neck. Long story short, I really wished we had retired six years earlier when I turned 65 and was in good health. We would have had those six years to enjoy before we got old and decrepid (or however you spell it)! Good luck, Happy New Year, and God bless!

I was diagnosed with MS in 1983 after some eight years of symptoms. I went on a very strict diet, and reduced activity, but after a year of so I decided to do what ever I wanted for as long as I could. So far it's been the right decision! Get tired when walking but still working.

Yes health has affected our RV'ing.
I had a truck camper that I used for me and my dog when we go Jeepin'. We wanted a class A but wouldn't have bought one (yet) if I hadn't had a health issue. I was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in late '09, things seem to have turned out OK but it turned that "some day" into "get on it and get one".
Starting in spring we're going to enjoy a bit of traveling, you never can tell when it might be too late.

You just never know my dad was a fireman and retired at 55. 8 days later had a heart attack he was lucky a week in the hospital and lots of work and he lived another 17 years. My mom worked as a nurse until she was 69 .then 4 month later was told she had cancer. She lived for 13 days. During those 13 days dad got sick long story short they died in the same hospital 3 days apart. But unjoyed life to its fullest.

I am 45 and Thom is 47. I have almost died several times and I came to realize years ago that I did not want to be sittiing there going "I wish I woulda, I wish I coulda, I wish I had".
We are temporarily in CA and as soon as we get back to MI we are gonna fix a few things that people broke that were staying at the house and we will then sell it. Since we bought it at the bottom of the market we should be able to at least sell it for a little more than what we bought it at. But who knows, only when we sell it will we know. My side of family all think we are doing what is right for us. Thom's side, well, some are sorta OK with it. His sister just cannot understand why he does not want the house with a white picket fence, the 2.5 kids, the dog etc.
We have done the route of doing for others and it's time for us to do for us.
