Help me interpret this dream

Same one, with some variations, for years:

Workday is over, need to go home. Can't find my car. Walking and walking...... Taxi won't stop. Bus is going wrong route, too crowded to stop or something else wrong. Want to phone wife to tell her I will be late. Cell phone does not work, can't dial numbers or screen too dim.

Find a pay phone. No dice, can't dial numbers or it turns into a slot machine or a blob of metal. Walking, walking to home......hopping fences into back yards for a short cut....more walking.

I can see a hill in the distance and our house or town beyond. Walk up and over the hill.......nope, just another hill with the house beyond the rise.

To hell with it.......I wake up.

I'd try playing the slot machine the next time it presents itself.

Thats a very interesting dream. Shame I am not a shrink so I could help you sort that out.

Until then An Online Guide To Dream Interpretation. Maybe you can use their guides to sort through that mess!

Maybe it's telling you it's not about "reaching" the goals but just enjoying the journey. I always think if I reached all the goals I would like to, then what would I do denise
PS were there any flowers to stop and sniff?

Maybe the answer can be found in your waking thoughts:

Do you ever privately think that no matter how hard you try, you can't meet the expectations of others?

The dream is symbolic. The dream shows a feeling, that time spent at work and commuting have kept you away from what is home or family. That something about home is lost and you can't get to it. Obstacles, one after another, are keeping you from your life.

For what it's worth.

Ever had this dream sleeping in the Dolphin? Just curious. I see much travel ahead for you. Your car is behind you - there is mud on the back up camera lens. Your just left Las Vegas and there is no cell reception. You have merely failed to realize you have arrived. Your wife is asleep in the bedroom and your windshield on the world has changed.
