My May issue 3rd page in, has an ad for "Lake Weir Living" near the Villages in Florida. Ads may be tailored to particular sections of the country???

However, On the internet I found a site for this "preserve" RV resort near Houston...
The Preserve RV Resort sounds close to your description.

You may be able to download a copy of those magazines from the Motorhome magazine web site.

I stopped our paper copies when we went full time and now download the new issue after getting an email notice from Motorhome.

I suspect, however, that 'Hooligan' has it right. The Preserve. At least one of their sales reps sold us our site in South Carolina. If you talk to John Mangum, tell him Jay Monroe says 'Hi'.

I found on the 3rd or 4th page, one called the "The Preserve RV Resort" in June's issue. Near Houston.

Site is "www.PreserveRVResort.com" for more info if this is it..

High dollar place!

Getting to it via Hwy 105 is a good road to travel from any direction. A few towns and stop lights, but easier than the freeways.

I've never done the search, but I do know he's former Navy Seal and had a long NSA career, if I remember correctly. I suspect he knows where a lot of the skeleton's are.

I just called down there....it seems mr. magnum was unavailable

it looks like a pretty decent spot to hang your hat
the price is right in line with what we have now, but with one huge plus....no more southwest water company, they have their own plant onboard

i asked if we could cover over the rv parking area....seems like its doable

I'll be interested in what you think of the place once you're there. We may add a stop to our 2014 - 15 travel itinerary. In checking the weather charts though, it may get too cold there in winter.

I agree there is nothing like seeing with your own two eyeballs

as far as cold in winter...probably just a few degrees warmer than where we are now, but i imagine it doesn't last as long

we are tentatively going down in Oct, might be pushed back to feb
