Spring or air bags would not help this set up.
So many things are wrong here. Start with the snow on the top. Too much weight. The slid-in looks to be sitting on top of the rear wheel fender wells. The bed tie down strap is struggling to get a grip to keep the camper in the bed. The camper is also too large for the pick up as it looks to be a compact size. The front tie down straps are in the cab to keep it from toppling out the back. The front wheels barely are touching the ground, not good.
What were they thinking? That whole picture looks like a disaster looking for a place to happen. Accident, roadside breakdown, everything about that was wrong.

Me thinks he needs to hoist up that camper and back a new truck under it.

At high speed it should catch enough wind to lift the rear to level. Hammer Down!

This brings new meaning to the question "Is my pickup truck big enough ?"

Just put a drop axle under the back of the camper and they're good to go!

I don't see the problem, looks good to me. Some people just gotta put down what other people do.

The dealer told me my truck would handle this unit with no problem.

Looks like the perfect set up. No need for steps since the door is so close to ground level. And because of that slight rearward tilt, the driver gets a much better view out the windshield. Most importantly, i bet it handles wonderfully on those winding roads.

Looks like he just has a two wheel drive truck and wanted a little extra weight in the bed for traction.

Someone has yet to say "I've driven my unit like this for xxxx miles and or days without any issues"! The manufacturers build in some contingency on the ratings so you will be just fine, mine handles great.

That picture brings to mind the saying "you can't fix stupid".
